Teaching, Service and Staff Awards
Each year we honor Fisher faculty and staff with the Fisher College of Business Undergraduate Teaching, Service and Staff awards. These awards are designed to recognize diverse forms of teaching and outstanding service, and to honor Fisher faculty and staff for the influence they have on the development of Fisher students, while still maintaining the University’s reputation for educational excellence.
New this year: A faculty member who has made a significant impact on a senior’s academic career will be honored in 2015.
All tenure-track Fisher Faculty and Senior Lecturers are eligible to be nominated for the Teaching and Service Awards and all Fisher Staff members are eligible to be nominated for the Staff and Service Awards.
Individuals who have won the award in the last three years may not be nominated (see past recipients).
The Undergraduate Teaching Award recognizes excellence in the classroom. This award focuses on contributions made to teaching in the core, major, elective and honors courses, as well as for innovative course development or teaching methods.
The Undergraduate Staff Award recognizes Fisher Staff who enhance the quality of the educational experience for the undergraduate Fisher community providing outstanding and ongoing service to our undergraduate students.
The Undergraduate Service Award recognizes Faculty and Staff who in addition to performing all of their normal job responsibilities with excellence; also take initiative and go above and beyond in their contribution to the undergraduate Fisher Community.
