Supply Chain and Logisitics Management - Executive Education

Supply Chain Management Program

Program Overview

Increasingly, supply chain management is being recognized as the key to corporate success. Unfortunately, many mistakenly view supply chain management as simply another term for logistics, purchasing, operations, or a combination of logistics/purchasing/operations. In fact, supply chain management is much broader. Supply chain management is the integration of key business processes from end user through original suppliers, that provides products, services and information that add value for customers and other stakeholders. The focus of this seminar is on the core processes that must be linked throughout the supply chain.

The key business processes are:

  • Customer relationship management
  • Customer service management
  • Demand Management
  • Order fulfillment
  • Manufacturing flow management
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Product development and commercialization
  • Returns management
