Robert H. Schottenstein

Robert H. Schottenstein is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of M/I Homes, Inc., the largest single-family homebuilder in Columbus, Ohio and one of the largest homebuilders in the United States. Based in Columbus, the Company also has homebuilding divisions in Cincinnati, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina; Tampa, Orlando and Palm Beach County, Florida; and in the Virginia and Maryland suburbs surrounding Washington, D.C. In addition, M/I Homes, Inc. provides mortgage financing through its subsidiary M/I Financial Corporation.

For many years, Mr. Schottenstein has been active in a number of business and charitable organizations. He currently serves as a Trustee of The Ohio State University, as a Board Member of the Columbus Jewish Federation (served as Board Chair from 2002-2004), and as a Board Member of The Children’s Hospital Foundation. Mr. Schottenstein also serves on the Large Home Builders Council of the National Association of Home Builders, and is a member of The Columbus Partnership.

Robert H. Schottenstein has an undergraduate degree from Indiana University and a law degree from Capital University. He is married to Jeri Block, has four children, and resides in Jefferson Township, Franklin County, Ohio.
