Edwin L. Overmyer, CPCU is Chairman and Co-Founder of Berwanger Overmyer Associates, now Hilb Rogal & Hobbs of Ohio, LLC.
He is past president of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Columbus, Ohio, and past regional vice president, past national director, and past president of the National Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU).
Mr. Overmyer is a Board Member of the CPCU Loman Education Foundation, and he sits on the Corporate Advisory Committee of Capital University. He is chairman of the Upper Arlington Community Foundation and a member of the following boards: Columbus Zoo, The Wilds, Opera Columbus and the Griffith Foundation for Insurance Education
He and his wife have established the Edwin L. and Mary Jane Overmyer Scholarship Fund at the Fisher College of Business to provide scholarship support to undergraduate students in the Fisher College of Business who demonstrate outstanding leadership skills.
He is a 1961 graduate of The Ohio State University’s College of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Science.
