Clayton C. Daley, Jr.

Clayton C. Daley, Jr. was appointed Chief Financial officer for the Procter & Gamble Company effective October 1, 1998. Mr. Daley joined P&G in 1974, and progressed through a variety of Finance and Accounting assignments in various operating units. In 1986 he was promoted to Director, Corporate Planning. In 1988, Mr. Daley was named Division Comptroller for Packaged Soaps & Detergents, and in 1989, the Bar Soaps and Health Care Products were added to his responsibilities. In 1990, he was named Comptroller of Soap Products, followed by being appointed Comptroller, U.S. Operations, Procter & Gamble USA in 1991. In 1992, he became Vice President and Comptroller of Procter & Gamble International. In 1994, Mr. Daley was name Vice President and Treasurer, The Procter & Gamble Company.
Mr. Daley's involvement in professional organizations and charities include the Financial Executives Institute; the Rotary Club of Cincinnati; the Board of Directors for the Boys Scouts of America, Dan Beard Council; Board of Directors for Cancer Family Care; Board of Directors, Nucor Corporation; Institutional Investor Magazine, Top CFO, Consumer Products 2004, 2005, and 2006; Member, Officers Conference Group; and Member, Council of Financial Executives.
A native of Canton, Ohio, Mr. Daley graduated from Davidson College in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He received his MBA from Ohio State University in 1974.
